About VVS IT
A senior backend partner for digital agencies, and a direct technical resource for businesses.
VVS IT is a backend development practice built around one person's depth of experience, not a large team spread across projects. We work two ways: white-label behind digital agencies, and directly with businesses that need senior PHP and Laravel work without hiring a full-time developer.
Who We Are
VVS IT was founded by Val S. in May 2024, after 10+ years of hands-on backend development in PHP and Laravel, most of it spent on e-commerce platforms, custom PHP stores, and custom web applications. We are based in Edmonton, Alberta, and work remotely and asynchronously with clients across Canada and internationally. There is no office to visit and no sales team between you and the work. Technical questions get technical answers, directly from the person doing the work.
Who We Work With
Our work falls into two categories.
Digital Agencies (White-Label)
Agencies that need a backend partner for client projects: e-commerce platforms (OpenCart, PrestaShop, WooCommerce), custom and inherited PHP stores, Laravel, Symfony, or Magento applications, and API integrations. We work under NDA and stay behind your brand for the full engagement.
Direct Business Clients
Businesses running an e-commerce store or a custom PHP/Laravel application that need senior development: new features, custom modules, payment or CRM integrations, performance work, or taking over a system a previous developer left behind.

Who We're Not For
We are upfront about fit, it saves everyone time.
- WordPress-only sites, or general web design and content work. We do not build from Figma files or manage marketing sites.
- Projects where price is the only selection criteria. If the brief is a race to the lowest bid, we are not the right vendor.
- Work with no backend, database, or integration component. If nothing touches server-side logic, it is probably outside our scope.
How White-Label Works
For agency partners, the process is simple: we sign an NDA, work inside your existing tools (Jira, Slack, or email), and stay off client-facing communication unless you ask us to join.
